Pasta Salad Recipe

In response to popular demand, below is the promised recipe for Donna`s Pasta Salad....

1 cup of uncooked Acine de Pepe (#27, 8 oz) pasta
1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineappple
2 tbls. flour
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 - 8 oz. Extra Creamy Cool Whip
1 - 15 oz. can Mandarin oranges, throw out juice

Dain pineapple and put juice in a saucepan.
Add eggs, sugar, flour, and beat together with pineapple juice.
Cook & bring to a boil, stirring constantly so it does not scorch.
Sauce will become thick when it starts to boil.
Cook pasta while sauce is cooking. Do not overcook, leaving it `al dente`.
Combine sauce with pasta and crushed pineapple. Refrigerate overnight.
Add Mandarin oranges (cut up into smaller pieces) and Cool Whip just before serving. Mix thoroughly.
